Abstract: In the post-Cold War order of the international environment, one of the issues facing the Islamic Republic of Iran has been the numerous attempts to create security on various issues, with the nuclear issue at the top of the list. Although the beginning of this process can perhaps be considered the speech of Israeli officials after the Madrid Conference in 1991, the fact is that over time, the Iranian security project, especially with the increased sensitivity to the Iranian nuclear issue since 2003, which seems to have the same purpose, has found its designed scope. From this perspective, the content of each of the fundamental issues of challenge for Iran in the international environment - including the nuclear issue - can perhaps be considered as excuses and sub-issues for this project as the main axis. Genealogy of the Iranian security project and its precise understanding will be a necessary condition for optimizing decision-making in the field of the country's foreign policy. In the present study, while conducting this study in the reverse direction of the flow of time, while explaining the genealogy of historical examples and their structural and essential relationships with each other as an applied study, we study how to optimize Iran's policymaking and activism in this case, especially with regard to the current post-polar order in the international environment.
