Today's conditions are not comparable to the era of Mr. Ahmadinejad. Mr. Pezeshkian's personal credibility is vastly different, and moreover, many facts about Israel have now become clear and evident. The entire world has witnessed the aggressions and illegal actions of the Zionist regime. Our country is in the post-12-day war period and is also on the verge of the return of UN Security Council sanctions. Therefore, the most important national issues that should naturally be raised in the president's speech at the General Assembly relate to these two aspects. Part of the regional issues also pertains to Israel's aggressions against the territories of multiple countries such as Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and Iran. On the other hand, the president can emphasize that the region can transform into a zone free of weapons of mass destruction and, at the same time, stronger and more cooperative among the authentic countries of the region by presenting initiatives in the field of regional cooperation or addressing security pacts (such as what happened in the Caucasus or the security pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia). These are the axes that the president should focus on given the current national and regional conditions. While the cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and the security pact between them do not conflict with our interests, it seems that the Islamic Republic of Iran should also welcome this agreement, as we have good relations with both countries. The military alliance between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is not a new matter and has a long history. Therefore, it is neither a setback nor a threat to Iran.As mentioned, one dimension of the president's speech at the General Assembly should be these overt and illegal aggressions by the Zionist regime against the countries of the region. The latest example is the attack on Qatar, which shows that all countries in the region should be concerned. The existence of an illegal and malevolent entity called Israel, which recognizes no boundaries and enjoys the unreserved support of major Western countries such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, is a serious threat. Israel's multiple attacks in recent months clearly demonstrate who the real threat is and what mechanisms should be considered for regional security. Therefore, the president can emphasize the necessity of cooperation among the main regional actors to counter this existential threat.Regarding Mr. Pezeshkian's meetings, it should be noted that no meeting with American officials will take place. However, a direct meeting with Mr. Macron is possible. A meeting with the German Chancellor seems unlikely, but meetings with other European countries, especially Scandinavian and Southern European countries, are probable. We must keep in mind that today's conditions are not comparable to the era of Mr. Ahmadinejad. Mr. Pezeshkian's personal credibility is vastly different, and moreover, many facts about Israel have now become clear and evident. The entire world has witnessed the aggressions and illegal actions of the Zionist regime. Therefore, no matter how much Mr. Pezeshkian says about Israel, walking out of the hall would neither have a legitimate basis nor any relevance. Today, the issues have gone far beyond that era.
