The first fact is that the internal affairs of any country, including the United States, are inherently independent of others, and therefore our opinion about and addressed to the US President-elect can only be heard from a national perspective or as an international position. Therefore, it seems to me that the most important issue that Mr. Biden, as a veteran politician, sees in the world today should be that the era of hegemony has generally passed in the world and despite the fact that the United States was the spearhead of expansionism in the decades after the Cold War, multilateralism and post-hegemonic behavior can be placed on the US agenda today, belatedly and after Europe. Post-hegemonic behavior can lead to the opening of new doors in accordance with the current components in international politics and also, with its development, increasingly strengthen the pacifist and post-hegemonic tendencies in countries with success in the international arena.
What seems to me to be the "musts" for them is in the Middle East. Creating unstable stability that is achieved at the cost of constant tension and war in the region is a repetition of the same policy that Trump, as the extremist heir of the past decades, emphasized and approved. Therefore, efforts should be made to replace proxy and man-made wars such as the Yemen war by stopping US support for its founders and giving way to a platform for dialogue between the Yemeni parties with each other, as well as the main players in regional politics such as the Persian Gulf countries as one issue and the Eastern Mediterranean as a second issue in the form of peace plans. Therefore, repeating these two categories of regional and international politics is what I think should not be among their actions in order to secure America's own strategic interests.
And regarding Iran, I think that the best evidence for the wrongness of the pressure and sanctions policy of Trump's maximum pressure era and the most important evidence for the correctness of the policy of respect and honoring his own and his associates' achievements in the form of the JCPOA. Returning to this approach, both in terms of form, unconditionally and immediately, to the JCPOA itself, and as a strategic policy adopted to continue the process of engagement with Iran, is an issue that could add to the foreign policy achievements of his presidency.
